MyAdhan.com will be sponsoring the Hajj and Umrah Roadshow 2007, the first UK Hajj and Umrah travel and information event.
The Hajj & Umrah Roadshow has been designed to help make pilgrimage easy. The event aims to bring together the UK's top quality travel and tour operators, promoting their best Hajj and Umrah travel packages, along with other businesses and organisations catering for other Hajj and Umrah needs. From guidebooks to ihram's and from health and safety to consular services. Alongside the exhibition will be a set of speaker sessions running at various times of the day where visitors can freely attend for useful tips and advice for their pilgrimage. Anyone looking to go for hajj or Umrah in the near future should visit the event to help make their planning and preparation smoother.
MyAdhan is committed to providing and sponsoring positive projects that promote the basic "five pillars" of the Islamic faith in a practical and encouraging way. MyAdhan expects to attract many of its SMS text message subscribers to each local event.

| Fundraising with Channel S |
MyAdhan.com piloted a new Freetext service that allows UK mobile phone owners to send a text message for free. The 8-0800 shortcode was used in a TV charity appeal on 27th June 2007 on Channel S at 8pm to collect donation pledges and then send a response with bank account details and a hotline number to call for a follow up. MyAdhan was be named as a sponsor for this fundraiser and will continue to work with Channel S on further charity appeals for other organisations.
